Jefferson County Little League Board Meeting

November 4^th, 2018

Member’s Present: Abigail Dudley, Greg Stevens, Greg Sager, Martha Sager, David Engle, Jeff Hickey, and Mike Moulton

President’s Report:

• T-Ball Director
  • David Engle motioned to nominate Randy Lukens as the new Director of T-Ball. Abigail Dudley second the motion. Motion passed.
• Bleacher Boards: The bleachers on the Softball field will need to be replaced before the spring season. Greg, Donny, and Larry will sit down and discuss.
• Sportsman’s Bash: Making sure we have enough volunteers for the Sportsman’s Bash at the SVFD.
• Ground Rules/SOP: Greg will be emailing the Ground Rules and the SOP to all for review and to print a copy for the meeting.
• Grant Update: More estimates were collected. More volunteers have come forward to help with work, grading, dirt, etc…

  Secretary’s Report:

• Minutes from the previous meeting.
  • Mike Moulton motioned to approve the minutes from the previous meeting. Greg Stevens second the motion. Motion passed.
• JCLL Scholarship:
  • Martha Sager motioned to allocate monies to cover 2 scholarships (1 Baseball and 1 Softball) for the spring.Greg Stevens second the motion. Motion passed.

  Fundraising:

• Ordered plaques and they will be handed out during the holidays along with the Spring paperwork to sponsor.
• Spirit nights will be put on hold for a bit.
• JCLL will be looking into bigger fundraising opportunities… Raffles, Cash Bash etc…

  Old Business:

• Dugouts: no progress due to the rain.Next date: November 17^th at 8am-?
• Minor’s Field work: 11.17.2018
• Concession Stand: POD from Jeff Hickey.
  • Mike Moulton motioned to allocate $150.00 to pay for the POD for the Concession Stand storage so that the concession stand can be painted. Greg Stevens second the motion. Motion passed.
  • We are still looking for a concession stand/committee.
