President’s Report:

State of the League:
o
Three Board Members attended a course in
Virginia to get ideas and make changes to the league. Jeff Hickey also attended
the Umpire Clinic while in VA.
o
Concession Stand: Renovations are complete.
Everything was power washed and painted.
o
Dugout Renovations: Great change to the complex.
Crosspoint Church volunteered time to help with the building of the new Major’s
dugouts.
o
Softball Field Lights: After several years, the
lights are finally a reality. There will be yearly payment of 11,482.00 to
Musco.
o
Junior’s Field Press box had the roof replaced.
o
Minor’s Field: Closed for the Fall season for
field maintenance.
o
New Field: Had to pause the receiving of dirt.
Continuing the process with new employees at the Jefferson County Board Office.
o
Entrance: Need approval from DOT before we can
put down asphalt.
o
Registration Changes: We have reduced the number
of in person registrations. Many are starting to use the online registration.
o
Sam Michael’s Park Rental: We spend about
$1000.00 to use the off site facility.
o
2019 Tournament Season: Very successful post
season for JCLL.
Treasurer’s Report: Report of Funds

We currently have 43,192.55 in our account.
Secretary’s Report: Membership Report
·
Membership numbers were down this year. Mainly
due to online registration.
Motion for Charter Changes:
·
The Annual Meeting will now be held on the
second Saturday in October.
o
Jeff Powell motioned to change the date of the
Annual General Membership Meeting to the second Saturday in October. Brenda
Engle second the motion. Motion passed.
·
Article 3 – Section 3 – B. Regular members
should not be actively engaged in the promotion and/or operation of any other
baseball/softball program.
o
Josh Didion motioned to remov the above Article
from the JCLL Constitution 2019-20. Mike Moulton second the motion. Motion
passed.
·
Article 11 – Changing “JSB” to “BANK”.
o
Mike Moulton motioned to change “JSB” to “BANK”
in Article 11. Abigail Dudley second the motion. Motion passed.
·
Article X1 Section 4: Added “and/or authorized
Debit Card Usage” to the statement “All disbursements shall be made by check”
o
Jeff Powell motioned to add “and/or authorized
Debit Card Usage” to the statement “All disbursements shall be made by check”. Abigail
Dudley second the motion. Motion passed.
Select number of Board Members: Mike Moulton
motioned to keep the number of Board Members to 14. Jeff Powell second the motion. Motion passed.
Selection of the Election Chairperson: Brenda
Engle was elected to the position.
