In accordance with Jefferson County Schools, JCLL does not allow pets on premises. Service animals can be used as long as they follow the rules and regulations applied by the Jefferson County Board of Education.

As noted in the article, emotional support animals are not considered service animals:

"Animals whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA (USDJ, 2011)"
